Item 8.01 Other Event
On February 15, 2012 Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing the completion of a first mortgage financing of one of its retail properties, The Dock Shopping Center in Stratford, CT. The loan has a ten-year term with payments based on a thirty-year amortization period at a fixed interest rate of 4.85% per annum. The mortgage contains certain representations, financial and other covenants typical for this type of mortgage.
