(d) Appointment of Barbara B. Lang as Director
On October 29, 2014, the Board of Directors of Piedmont Office Realty Trust, Inc. (the "Registrant") appointed Barbara B. Lang to serve as a director of the Registrant beginning on January 1, 2015 as further described in the press release attached hereto.
The Board of Directors has not yet determined the committees on which Ms. Lang will serve and her compensation as a director will be provided on the same basis as that provided to the Registrant's other non-employee directors, as outlined in the Registrant's most recent Annual Proxy Statement as filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 1, 2014.
