Vectren
Corporation (the Company) announced on May 5, 2006, that Vectren Energy Delivery
of Indiana and the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor
(OUCC) filed a joint settlement with the Indiana Utility Regulatory
Commission (IURC) outlining efficiency programs designed to help customers
use
less natural gas. Pursuant to the plan, Vectren will be positioned to
advocate energy efficiency in Indiana to help promote more efficient use of
natural gas and reduce customer costs. A
copy of
the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form
8-K.
In
