Peace Arch Entertainment Announces Investor Conference Call to be Held April 18 to Discuss Q2 2007 Report Showing Record Breaking Revenues and Net Profits
Revenues Increase 405% to $20.3 Million, with Net Earnings Reaching $2.2 Million, Validating High-Growth Strategy for the International Entertainment Company
TORONTO-Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. (AMEX: PAE - News) (Toronto: PAE - News), an innovative film and television entertainment company, will hold an investor conference call on Wednesday, April 18 2007, at 12 noon Eastern to discuss its recently reported record breaking $20.3 million in revenues for fiscal Q2 2007, a significant 405% over the comparable period the previous year.
Peace Arch also reported net earnings of $2.2 million, or $0.06 per diluted share in the second quarter, compared to a net loss of $(0.7) million, or $(0.04) per diluted share for the same period last year.
"Our revenues for the first six months of 2007 have already reached $31 million, and we feel very confident that Peace Arch will continue making gains for the final two quarters of 2007," said John Flock, President of Peace Arch Entertainment. "We are fully committed to continue building value of this magnitude for all of our shareholders. The Company delivered 16 episodes of television programming during the quarter, including five episodes of the dramatic new series "The Tudors," which premiered to record audiences in the U.S. on Showtime Networks, 11 episodes of three lifestyle series and five movies. This is compared to the delivery of 13 episodes of a television series and no movies in the second quarter of last year.
