Breakthrough Television Series "The Tudors" Earns Four Emmy® Nominations for Showtime, Peace Arch® Entertainment and TM Productions

Nominations, Including 'Outstanding Cast for a Drama Series' Provide Major Validations for Top-Quality Television Content

TORONTO - Peace Arch® Entertainment Group Inc. (AMEX: PAE) (TSX: PAE), an innovative film and television entertainment company, announced today that the Company's co-produced television series, "The Tudors," received four Emmy® Award nominations from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, including "Outstanding Cast for a Drama Series," "Outstanding Costumes for a Series," "Outstanding Original Movie Title Theme Music," and "Outstanding Art Direction for a Single Camera Series.  Critically acclaimed, "The Tudors" is co-produced by Peace Arch Entertainment and TM Productions in association with The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Showtime Networks Inc.

The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 8 pm EDT on the Fox Network.

Peace Arch Entertainment CEO Gary Howsam said, "These Emmy nominations, along with the series' positive critical support and record-breaking viewer ratings, are all acknowledgements of the success of 'The Tudors.'  The creative contribution and business vision of this series' production partnership were integral to the show's creation and its popularity, and we anticipate this collaboration to result in continued success for this wonderful series."

"The Tudors" premiered in April to record audiences on the Showtime Network, which recently renewed the series for a second season.  Peace Arch Entertainment, which owns non-U.S. worldwide distribution rights to the series, sub-licensed "The Tudors" to Sony International for DVD, television, mobile and new media distribution rights outside of North America.  Sony and its licensees will premiere the series internationally this summer. Peace Arch licensed Canadian rights to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation who will broadcast in Canada in the fall.  Peace Arch Entertainment will distribute the series on DVD in Canada in late 2007.

The first season of the "The Tudors" is a ten part series of one-hour episodes that tells the incredible tale of the young, powerful, seductive King Henry VIII, focusing on the tumultuous early years of the ambitious King's nearly 40 year reign of England.  Bold and passionate about his country and his women, Henry's obsession with ensuring his legacy led to beheadings of friend and foe, waging war, and challenging the almighty Catholic Church of England, forever changing the soul of the British Empire.

"The Tudors" was created and written by Michael Hirst, whose work includes the Academy Award-winning "Elizabeth."  Michael Hirst, Ben Silverman, Teri Weinberg, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Sheila Hockin and Morgan O'Sullivan are the executive producers of "The Tudors," with Gary Howsam of Peace Arch Entertainment Group and James Flynn of TM, producing.

The Emmy Awards recognize excellence within various areas of the television industry. The awards are a symbol of peer recognition from over 12,000 members of the Academy, and are considered the television equivalent of the Oscars®.
