Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On September 7, 2011, Corrado DeGasperis, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Comstock Mining Inc. (the “Company”) hosted a conference call with investors to discuss recent permitting advances, production schedules, and drill results for the Dayton Resource Area and the potential acceleration and development of the Dayton into a second mine. The presentation from this conference call is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K. The press release relating to the information presented is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Form 8-K.
