CHINA TECHFAITH ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN BOARD
China Techfaith Wireless Communication Technology Limited ("China
TechFaith") (Nasdaq: CNTF), a handset application software and handset solution
provider based in China, announced that Peter Clarke has recently resigned from
the company's board of directors due to personal reasons. Mr. Clarke, a former
independent director of the company, served as the chairman of the audit
committee prior to his resignation. China TechFaith intends to start the new
director search process immediately and fill the vacancy as soon as practicable
and, in any event, before the deadline required under relevant Nasdaq corporate
governance rules.
