On March 1, 2006, Millennium America Inc. ("Millennium America"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Millennium Chemicals Inc., announced the completion of its cash tender offer for any and all of its 7.00% Senior Notes due 2006. The March 1, 2006 press release regarding the matter is being filed with this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
