Notification of Major Interest in Shares
In accordance with the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) the Company was informed
on 21 April that UBS AG and its subsidiaries ("UBS") had increased their holding
by 8,267,193 ordinary shares since their last filing on 2 February 2006. UBS's
revised holding amounts to 45,997,178 ordinary shares of 10p each, representing
6.1% of the issued share capital of the Company.
