VeriSign, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), announced that Michelle Guthrie, Chief Executive Officer of Star, News Corporation’s Asian satellite television and multi-media services company, has been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors, effective December 13, 2005.
