Trina Solar Holds Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

Changzhou, China – June 29, 2007 – Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) (“Trina Solar”), an integrated manufacturer of solar power products based in Changzhou, China, today announced that it held its 2007 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (the “AGM”) on June 27, 2007. Each of the proposals submitted for shareholder approval at the AGM was approved.

Specifically, the shareholders approved:

 

Proposal No. 1 –   Re-election of Mr. Jifan Gao as a director of the Company;
Proposal No. 2 –   Re-election of Mr. Jianwei Shi as a director of the Company;
Proposal No. 3 –   Re-election of Mr. Qian Zhao as a director of the Company;
Proposal No. 4 –   Amendment to the number of authorized shares for grant under the Company’s Share Incentive Plan from 52,631,579 ordinary shares to 102,718,350 ordinary shares;
Proposal No. 5 –   Ratification of the appointment of the Independent Auditor Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for the fiscal year 2006;
Proposal No. 6 –   Appointment of the Independent Auditor Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for the fiscal year 2007; and
Proposal No. 7 –   Inclusion of financial statements of fiscal year 2006 in the Company’s 2006 annual report.
