Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
James G. Floyd retired from the Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation Board of Directors on November 8, 2007 citing health reasons. Mr. Floyd served on the Compensation and Executive Committees of the Board of Directors and was the chairman of the Safety and Environmental Affairs Committee. Mr. Floyd’s retirement was not due to any disagreement with Cabot on any matter relating to Cabot’s operations, policies or practices.
