Departure of a Named Executive Officer
Effective August 31, 2008, Executive Vice President, Insurance Operations, Douglas W. Reynolds, will leave Horace Mann Educators Corporation (the “Company”) to join ACE Limited as Global Head of Personal Lines and Small Commercial international business.
Thomas C. Wilkinson succeeds Mr. Reynolds and has been named Executive Vice President, Property & Casualty. Mr. Wilkinson joined the Company in 2002 and served most recently as Senior Vice President, Property & Casualty Product Administration.
The Company’s Life and Annuity segments will report to Peter H. Heckman, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
