On August 19, 2014, Natural Resource Partners L.P. announced via press release that on August 18, 2014, it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire VantaCore Partners LP, a privately held limited partnership specializing in the construction materials industry, for $205 million, subject to customary purchase price adjustments. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
