VRG Launches Espaço Vita Concept in Business Class

Sao Paulo, October 24, 2007 GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. (NYSE: GOL and Bovespa: GOLL4), the parent company of Brazil’s low-cost airlines GOL Transportes Aéreos S.A. and VRG Linhas Aéreas S.A., announces that VRG has launched Espaço Vita, a program targeted at making flying a more enjoyable experience.

After boarding, business-class passengers will receive a Guia Vita guide, which provides in-flight health and nutrition tips. The first edition of the guide includes information on the importance of staying hydrated, foods that make long-haul flights more comfortable, and exercises that reduce the physical effects of sitting for extended periods of time. Upon arrival at their destination, passengers are free to take the Guide, which also includes medical reports and articles by renowned specialists.

As part of the Espaço Vita concept, business-class passengers on international routes can order meals at their convenience, served on classic tableware and tables set up at each individual seat for a restaurant-like atmosphere.

In addition to traditional menu options, the Espaço Vita menu will allow passengers to customize their meal with items from the Menu Vita, which offers lighter and healthier options. For example, the traditional breakfast menu will offer hot bread with butter, juice, toast with jam, and fruit, while the Menu Vita allows passengers to substitute these options with fruit juice and herbs that fight fatigue and energize the body. The economy-class menu will now offer caldinho brasileiro, a traditional Brazilian cuisine, to help passengers relax during their flight.

Espaço Vita will also provide business-class passengers with other exclusive amenities, including towels soaked in camphor for leg pain relief, a hand-held foot massager, hot towels with essential oils for refreshment, and other items designed to improve passengers’ comfort. The complimentary travel kit will include socks and anti-stress balls to reduce tension, in addition to other personal hygiene items.

Passengers will have access to a number of music channels, including one program offering zen music. All channels will provide regularly scheduled audio tips on stress-reducing exercises

In 2008, VRG will extend the Espaço Vita concept to VARIG’s VIP airport lounges, offering the same high-quality service to its customers on the ground.
