Item 8.01 Other Events.

On December 10, 2007, Cytokinetics, Incorporated issued a press release announcing that a poster of interim data from a Phase I/II clinical trial evaluating SB-743921 in patients with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) and Hodgkin’s Disease was presented at the 2007 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology in Atlanta, Georgia. SB-743921 is a novel, small molecule inhibitor of kinesin spindle protein (KSP), a mitotic kinesin essential for proper cell division, being developed by Cytokinetics under a collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K, and is incorporated herein by reference.
