ATHENS, GREECE – September 24, 2009 -- Excel Maritime Carriers Ltd (NYSE: EXM), an owner and operator of dry bulk carriers and a provider of worldwide seaborne transportation services for dry bulk cargoes, announced today that Lefteris Papatrifon, Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will be presenting at the Maxim Group 3rd Annual Growth Conference on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 4:00 pm EDT in New York City.
