On July 23, 2007, an award was issued by the panel hearing an arbitration proceeding filed by Combisa against Pemex Exploracion y Prodcution (PEMEX) seeking payment for additional costs in a design and construction project. Combisa is a joint venture in which a subsidiary of KBR, Inc. participates. While we are awaiting an official translation of the award, we understand that the net award in Combisa’s favor is approximately $75.6 million. Additional arbitration proceedings involving a separate subsidiary of KBR and PEMEX are continuing.
