On October 11, 2011, Stage Stores, Inc. (the "Company") issued a News Release announcing the launch of Steele’s, its new off-price concept for small town America. The Company will hold a conference call on October 12th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time to discuss its new off-price concept. A copy of the News Release is attached to this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.
