(NYSE, TSX: ITP) today announced that, following the successful completion on September 24, 2003 of a bought deal public offering of 5,000,000 of Intertape's common shares, the underwriters have exercised their over-allotment option and, as a consequence thereof, Intertape has issued an additional 750,000 of its common shares at a price of CDN$10.00 per common share. Intertape will use the net proceeds from the public offering to repay short-term indebtedness (but not reduce the banking syndicate's commitments thereunder) and long-term indebtedness to its banking syndicate.
