METHANEX CORPORATION TO PRESENT AT THE SCOTIA CAPITAL MATERIALS CONFERENCE

May 27, 2004

Methanex Corporation will be presenting at the upcoming Scotia Capital Materials Conference being held June 2nd & 3rd, 2004 in Toronto, Ontario. Mr. Bruce Aitken, Methanex’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will speak to investors on June 3rd at approximately 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
