Item 8.01   Other Events.
     On June 5, 2008, our shareholders approved the change of our corporate name from Ultralife Batteries, Inc. to Ultralife Corporation at our Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The name change became effective June 5, 2008 upon the filing with the Secretary of State of Delaware of a Certificate of Amendment to our existing Restated Certificate of Incorporation effectuating such change to our corporate name.
