On November 13, 2024, the Czech Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine (CCTM), Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Southwest Medical University (SWMU) and Sichuan Neo-Green Pharmaceutical Technology Development Co signed their cooperation contract.
Since ancient times, Chinese medicine has been an important part of the exchanges and cooperation among the countries along the ancient Silk Road, taking root in the countries along the route along with the early commercial and trade activities, and becoming a health resource shared and built by the people along the route in different forms.
Since 2015, the deputy governor of the Czech Republic and his party visited Sichuan, which started the cooperation between Sichuan and the Czech Republic in Chinese medicine. Under the guidance of the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Southwest Medical University (SWMU) and NGP on the development of strategic cooperation between the three parties. During the period, more than 200 TCM granules produced by NGP were listed in the Czech Republic, which opened a new mode for TCM to go to the international market.
Meanwhile, NGP organized a series of thematic activities in the Czech Republic, such as TCM clinics, TCM cultural exhibitions and TCM demonstrations. These activities enabled the Czech people to have a close contact with the culture of Chinese medicine and deeply feel its unique charm, which set off a wave of “Chinese medicine fever” in the local area.
On November 13th, the three parties joined hands again to renew their former relationship. Roman Spačil and his party from the Czech Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine, Liu Jian, President of the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Southwest Medical University, Xu Houping, Vice President of the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Southwest Medical University, and representatives of NGP had a discussion and exchange of views at the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Southwest Medical University, and renewed the cooperation agreement; the ceremony was presided over by Xu Houping, Vice President of the Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Southwest Medical University, in which all the three parties adjusted and optimized the content of the original cooperation, and further expanded the scope of cooperation.
NGP is looking forward to joining hands with the Czech Republic under the global perspective, giving full play to the advantages of Chinese medicine, vigorously promoting and inheriting the culture of Chinese medicine, enhancing contacts, exchanging views and cooperating, realizing all-round and multi-level development in the field of Chinese medicine, and contributing to the cause of human health and the deepening of the friendly relations between the two countries.
