About Steven H. Burry
As the vice president of revenue management at Atrium, Mr. Burry leads a consulting team of expert practitioners that helps customers journey through large-scale Revenue Lifecycle transformations. His responsibilities include leading practice vision and operations, managing financial performance, and ensuring world-class delivery excellence with clients and partners. He also helps to define the go-to-market strategy and service offerings for his practice area and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to build sales pipelines and close business opportunities.
Mr. Burry's career developed through a broad mix of academic and professional experiences. He began his college studies in piano and music theory before shifting his focus to finance and computer science disciplines. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business and accounting, with a concentration in computer information systems, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Kansas. This combination of degrees prepared him well to begin a career in information technology immediately after graduation.
Mr. Burry started his career working in the IT department at Jostens, known for class rings and yearbooks, and then moved on to boutique-style consulting at a company called Empower, which focused heavily on Microsoft solutions. His career truly took shape while working at Deloitte, consulting in the late 1990s. There, he gained experience working on large-scale customer relationship management platforms, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and financial management applications. These early opportunities introduced him to enterprise transformational programs that connected technology with business outcomes. This later led to building out custom insurance solutions that spanned Illustration to Policy issue in sixteen countries across the globe with Met Life International. Over time, these experiences guided his focus toward revenue management and operations as a growing discipline that combines marketing, sales, quoting, contracting, billing, and finance as critical components to revenue lifecycle strategy.
As his career advanced, Mr. Burry became an executive and helped to build three successful companies within the Salesforce ecosystem and specialized in revenue management solutions. His work centered on linking business capabilities to processes and aligning them with technology platforms across the entire revenue lifecycle. Over the course of 17 years, all three companies grew exponentially and were acquired by industry-leading consultancies that generated very high revenue multipliers, all of which continued to shape Mr. Burry's professional expertise and industry reputation.
Before joining Atrium, Mr. Burry served as executive vice president of delivery at Navint (acquired by Globant) from 2022 to 2024. In that role, he built a multinational revenue management practice of over 100 team members across four global regions that generated over $20 million in annual revenue. He previously held senior leadership roles at Staples Inc., Original Shift, Hearst Technology and Advanced Technology Group, where he played a critical role in helping the company grow into a $50 million company known as a product-to-cash leader.
A Commitment to Growth
Mr. Burry continues to focus on emerging trends in revenue management, especially the growing role of artificial intelligence, machine learning and agentic application. His work emphasizes the use of AI to optimize marketing reach, promote multi-channel sales growth, reduce customer churn, minimize revenue leakage, and enhance billing and general ledger (GL) accuracy.
Outside of his professional career, Mr. Burry values time with his family and remains active in his community. He supports organizations such as National Public Radio, Habitat for Humanity, the Rose Brooks Center and several local animal welfare groups. His personal interests include spoiling his golden retrievers, listening to live music, playing the piano and working in his music studio, and traveling abroad.
Mr. Burry holds multiple professional certifications from the Project Management Institute and Villanova University. He attributes his success to consistent effort, adaptability and a commitment to lifelong learning. His career reflects lasting leadership and influence in revenue management and consulting.
