SINGAPORE, SG / ACCESS Newswire / March 19, 2026 / Jiang Nan Construction Engineering Group Pte. Ltd. is proud to announce that, as the EPC general contractor, it has officially commenced construction of a 25 megawatt (MW) centralized ground-mounted photovoltaic power station project located in Amaury, Rivière du Rempart District, Mauritius.
The project forms a key component of Mauritius's Renewable Energy Programme under the Carbon Neutral Industrial Sector (CNIS). It aims to deliver clean energy supply and drive the green transformation of the local energy structure, contributing meaningfully to global climate action and long-term energy sustainability goals.
The project is commissioned by FMD SOLAR CO., LTD., with a total site area of approximately 320,000 square meters. The installed capacity on the AC side is 25 MW, consisting of two independent 12.5 MW power stations, which will be constructed and connected to the grid separately. Construction officially commenced on February 23, 2026, with a planned construction period of 8 months. The scope of work covers the full EPC process, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and trial operation. The project is expected to be fully completed and achieve grid connection before the end of 2026.
According to the design data, the project is expected to generate approximately 49,850,240 kWh of electricity in its first year. Taking into account the annual module degradation rate, the project will be capable of providing a stable and continuous supply of clean energy over the long term.

Site preparation (clearing and grading) has now been successfully completed. Foundation test-pile installation, perimeter fencing construction and procurement of core equipment are progressing steadily and on schedule. The Jiang Nan project team is leveraging its professional project management system and advanced construction organisation methodologies to coordinate all workstreams efficiently, ensuring that safety, quality and schedule targets are fully met.
