PharMerica Moves to State-of-the-Art Facility in Uniondale, NY, to Enhance Client Service

PharMerica announced today that it has recently relocated from its Long Beach, New York, location to a new state-of-the-art facility in Uniondale in order to accommodate the company’s continued local growth and better service clients in the New York region.

PharMerica moved into the new site in April following extensive renovations to meet the needs of the pharmacy services provider. The 58,000-square-foot leased facility now features:

• A new robotic dispensing system for greater accuracy and efficiencies
• Faster deliveries with closer access to major highways
• Seamless service through underground utilities that will reduce potential downtime during adverse weather
• Greater convenience for customers from a more central location

Approximately 245 employees work from the new Uniondale location, where they service skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, behavioral health group homes, addiction treatment detox centers, adult homes, foster care and prisons.
