Hammond will accelerate adoption of Exo’s advanced ultrasound platform to improve patient outcomes across the globe
Exo (pronounced “echo”), a pioneering medical imaging software and devices company, today announced the appointment of Kurt Hammond to Chief Commercial Officer. With more than three decades of experience scaling healthcare software brands, Hammond will be responsible for developing and executing the sales, marketing, partnerships and customer success strategies to drive the commercialization of Exo’s fully integrated ultrasound ecosystem.
Hammond most recently served as Chief Growth Officer at eMed Digital Healthcare, where he oversaw sales, customer success, product management, marketing and partnership development functions for a first-of-its-kind point-of-care diagnostic lab platform. Prior to eMed Digital Healthcare, he led six healthcare startups, including Halo Health and Merge Healthcare, to successful exits and has been involved in more than 20 mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare market. After Merge Healthcare was acquired by IBM in 2015, Hammond was named VP of Global Imaging Sales for IBM Watson Health, eventually being promoted to Global VP of Partnerships and Business Development.
