Care Access To Host Open House for Physicians at Health & Research Center in Thousand Oaks

The Ventura County medical community is invited to attend an Open House event on Dec. 16 from 3:00-7:00 PM

Care Access is hosting an Open House event for physicians and healthcare professionals at their Health & Research Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the team of clinical research professionals, and learn about how they can work together to improve access to health resources and research opportunities for all communities. The Open House takes place on December 16 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 2100 Lynn Road, Suite 100, in Thousand Oaks.

Care Access seeks to partner with local physicians to offer patients no-cost health screenings, including tests for Lp(a), A1c, lipids, creatinine, and more. Patients will also learn about clinical trial opportunities that could benefit them, their families, and their communities.

Through the Future of Medicine program, Care Access makes no-cost Heart & Kidney Health Screenings available to the public at the Health & Research Center and community events across Southern California. Care Access has screened over 100,000 participants this year across the nation, while raising awareness about cardiovascular health and the importance of clinical research in advancing medicine.

Care Access opened the Thousand Oaks location in collaboration with local community leaders and healthcare providers seeking to make health resources more accessible to area residents.

“By investing in clinical research focused on Lp(a), we can unlock new insights into its role in cardiovascular health and identify targeted interventions that mitigate risk. Collaborative efforts between researchers, healthcare providers, and patients are essential to advancing medical science in this critical area,” said Dr. Irving Loh, Senior Consultant and Principal Investigator at Care Access.
