Josh Heuker of Lima, Ohio and Melissa Warner of Greenville, South Carolina are awarded by the nation’s leading home health provider for exceptional patient care

Josh Heuker of Lima, Ohio was awarded Therapist of the Year for his excellence in communication and patient advocacy. Heuker was also commended for his determination that inspires patients to reach their goals. Recently, he worked with a patient who had been chairbound for three years, and with his persistence and encouragement, this patient is now able to travel short distances with the help of a walker. Melissa Warner of Greenville, South Carolina was named Paraprofessional of the Year for consistently demonstrating integrity and making choices that put the needs of her patients first. Warner is always eager to take on new responsibilities and opportunities. Over the course of her year and a half with Interim HealthCare, she has proactively learned new skills to uplevel her work by attending additional training classes. One training session helped her learn scheduling and weekend on-call responsibilities, ensuring patients receive consistent coverage during off-hours. Additionally, she is known to go above and beyond for her patients, such as using her previous catering experience to make home-cooked meals for them.
