Global humanitarian relief and development NGO to deploy Emburse Chrome River
Emburse, whose innovative travel and expense solutions power forward-thinking organizations, has been chosen by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to provide a global expense management solution.
The IRC has more than 13,000 employees and volunteers working across more than 40 countries, including Afghanistan, Gaza and Ukraine, as well as 29 U.S. cities, helping people affected by humanitarian crises to survive, recover and rebuild their lives. Its team members submit more than 120,000 expense reports, in 50 currencies, per year.
The IRC will deploy Emburse Chrome River to its global team making it easier for staff to submit expense reports, whether traveling or in an office, and ensuring faster reimbursement. By integrating Emburse Chrome River with its Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP solution, the IRC will be able to gain deep, timely insight into travel expenditures. This enhanced visibility will empower the organization to achieve better financial management and cost control, thereby maximizing donor funds available for program services.
“Integrating Emburse Chrome River Expense with our current ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, will boost the efficiency and transparency of our expense management processes and finance operations,” said Rachael Stewart, Senior Director, Global ERP Program, IRC. “This partnership with Emburse marks a significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to simplify administrative work so that our staff can direct more time to the people we serve around the world.”
“The IRC’s vital work saves and improves the lives of tens of millions of people in the U.S. and overseas each year, and I’m deeply honored that it has chosen Emburse to help it better achieve its humanitarian goals,” said Marne Martin, CEO at Emburse. “We know that the IRC’s team often operates in the most challenging circumstances, and needs solutions that are user-friendly and can easily be used on any mobile device, in dozens of languages. Emburse Chrome River will allow its team to submit and approve expenses in a fraction of the time that it used to take, so they can devote their time and resources to supporting vulnerable communities and deliver on the IRC’s mission.”
