Equinox Partners’ Kuroto Fund Wins HFM U.S. Performance Award in Global Equity (Up to $1 Billion) Category

Equinox Partners Investment Management, LLC (“Equinox Partners”) today announced that Kuroto Fund, L.P. was named winner of the Global Equity (Up to $1 Billion) Performance Award at the HFM U.S. Performance Awards 2025 held in New York City on October 14, 2025.

The HFM U.S. Performance Awards recognize top-performing managers and strategies across hedge funds, fund of funds, and CTAs. Winners are selected by a panel of CIOs and senior allocators and consultant representatives, based on a blend of both quantitative and qualitative factors, including past performance, volatility of returns, the nature of the investment strategy, and client service.

Kuroto Fund, L.P. owns a concentrated portfolio of high quality, deeply discounted businesses in emerging and frontier markets. Launched in 1999 in the aftermath of the Emerging Market Financial Crisis, the fund’s countercyclical bias has enabled it to maintain a portfolio of high-quality businesses at deeply discounted valuations over time.
