Since its release on Steam in July 2025, the game has consistently received attention as one of the year’s most impressive psychological horror titles.
Currently, during the Steam Scream Fest, the game is available at a special 30% discount for a limited time.
A Story Between Reality and Hallucination
Players take on the role of a schizophrenia patient experiencing extreme hallucinations.
A suspicious visitor continuously knocks on the door, while a pill lies on the table.
The player faces a dilemma: open the door or take the pill.
If hallucinations are detected, the player must take the pill next to the door. If the hallucination stops, the door opens, and the player receives medicine from the visitor. Successfully surviving through eight days clears the game, while a single wrong choice resets the player to the first day.
Who’s at the Door? is more than just a simple horror experience. The game constantly asks: “What is reality, and what is hallucination?” Players must confront the truth while navigating the blurred line between reality and illusion.
Player Reactions
Since release, Steam community members, YouTubers, and streamers have praised the game for being ‘short, but intense’, ‘a masterful execution of true horror’, and having a ‘chilling sound, visuals, and story.’
Although the gameplay is relatively short (around 1–2 hours), the tight and engaging story leaves a lasting impression.
The game maintains a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, and its emphasis on psychological tension alongside visual cues has been well-received by global players.
