M1 Support Services (“M1”) announced today that Martin Craft has been named President, Army and Special Operations Forces (“SOF”) Programs. In his new role, Mr. Craft will provide executive leadership, strategic oversight, and operational direction for all M1 Army and SOF programs, ensuring performance excellence, continuous improvement, and alignment with M1’s long-term business strategy.
“Martin has distinguished himself as M1’s Chief Business Officer since 2005,” said George Krivo, Chairman and CEO of M1 Support Services. “He has been key to our success supporting the Army’s flight school at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and will build on that experience in an operational leadership role supporting both Army and Special Operations customers.”
M1 supports all branches of the military in managing, operating, and sustaining large scale aviation training enterprises. At Fort Rucker, M1 supports a 240,000 Flying Hour Program, scheduling, launching, recovering and maintaining, and sustaining hundreds of aircraft daily. The scale, scope, and complexity of this program are unmatched among the several large training fleets supported by M1 across the Services.
“I am both honored and humbled by this promotion,” said Mr. Craft. “I have been with M1 for more than 20 years and look forward to the next chapter, aligning M1’s business strategy to support future growth.”
