Infinitum Named ARMA Awards Finalist for “Coolest Thing Made in Austin”

Infinitum, creator of the sustainable air-core motor, today announced it has been named a finalist in the Austin Regional Manufacturing Association (ARMA) Awards for the “Coolest Thing Made in Austin” category.

The ARMA Awards honor exceptional contributions to Central Texas manufacturing. The “Coolest Thing Made in Austin” honor highlights the most cutting-edge, innovative products in the city.

Infinitum has created a new paradigm for an electric motor that can power the world with less energy and fewer carbon emissions, while promoting repairability and circularity. With its unique stator design and integrated variable frequency drive, Infinitum motor systems consume up to 20% less energy than conventional motors and also have the benefit of being 50% lighter, while using no iron and 66% less copper.

Infinitum’s motors, which are engineered with modular design, reusable components and fewer raw materials streamline manufacturing, reduce costs, enhance serviceability and extend product life for customers.

“We’re honored to be recognized as a finalist by the Austin Regional Manufacturing Association for our cutting-edge motor design that prioritizes energy efficiency, serviceability and circularity,” said Ben Schuler, founder and CEO, Infinitum. “This recognition reflects the ingenuity of our talented engineering and manufacturing teams and their commitment to the innovations that continue to positively impact our customers and the environment.”

Winners will be announced at the ARMA Awards Luncheon being held on February 25, 2025.
