The woman-owned company has expanded its award-winning cannabis beverage portfolio and upgraded its operations—all with zero debt.
Lehua House of Brands has not only adapted to California’s roller-coaster cannabis market, the house of brands is thriving at a time when one of the nation’s most established cannabis markets faces unprecedented headwinds, including bankruptcies, receiverships, rising tax burdens, and a chilling effect on investment.

Lehua Brands' diverse portfolio includes Olala craft sodas, VOILA! sparkling tonics, Reefresh hydration shots and teas, Live Oro wellness products, and Smoking Sección vape cartridges. Produced in-house at their California facility, Lehua offers full-scale canning capabilities and a commitment to high-quality, consistent formulations.
Lehua Brands has emerged as a case study in resilience, signing new accounts daily despite adverse market conditions. The company responded to industry challenges with revamped branding, more intuitive packaging, in-house canning capabilities, a growing internal sales force, and a partnership with Nabis—California’s largest cannabis wholesale platform.
“The race to the bottom is never a win for anyone. We’re operating in reality, not in speculation,” said Lehua CEO Sierra Elaina. “Our focus is on product excellence, realistic COGS, and a portfolio that speaks to California’s diversity in both lifestyle and taste. That’s how we’ve earned the trust and support of our investors, our retail partners, and our customers.”
After right-sizing and relocating operations, the award-winning beverage company has officially opened its canning facility in Northern California. Lehua’s state-of-the-art Wild Goose canning line represents its latest investment in a lean, low-risk model that prioritizes flexibility and quality over flashy growth.
Recent upgrades have enabled Lehua to process Olala, Voila!, Reefresh, and Live Oro in-house—reducing costs, improving margins, and ensuring the attention to detail that earned Reefresh Strawberry Lemonade and Olala Root Beer gold and silver medals at last year’s California State Fair Golden Bear Awards.
While other brands struggle to pay vendors or chase scale at the expense of solvency, Lehua has prioritized transparency with its partners—and that approach is paying off. The company’s recent migration to Nabis provides access to advanced credit tools and fulfillment capabilities, freeing Lehua’s internal sales team to focus not on collections but on growth.
“California cannabis is not for the faint of heart,” Elaina said. “But I approach building this company the same way I’ve approached building my life after personal setbacks: with grit, discipline, and a lot of hard-earned street smarts. You have to be the master of your own destiny.”
The numbers support the strategy: Lehua’s 100mg SKUs are already performing well—the company recently opened 15 accounts in one day. With packaging and formulation challenges resolved, a full lineup of shots, low-dose sparkling waters, high-dose classics, and functional, sugar-free beverages are now rolling out of its new facility.
