UBS Global Wealth Management US today announced that Jack Heiss will join the firm as Market Director for its Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Winter Haven offices in Florida. He will begin his role at the conclusion of his notice period.
These offices are part of the firm’s Florida Wealth Management market led by Market Executive Lane Strumlauf, which is part of the firm’s Southeast Region, led by Julie Fox.

Jack brings 35 years of experience in the wealth management industry to his new role. He most recently served in a hybrid leadership and financial advisor role at Bank of America Private Bank. He started his career at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor in 1987. He also served as Florida Regional Director at Bank of America Investments and Market Leader for the firm’s Global Wealth and Investment Management divisions in Palm Beach and Tampa Bay. After Bank of America acquired Merrill Lynch, Jack oversaw Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Central Florida.
A Tampa resident for over 30 years, Jack earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Florida State University School of Business. He is actively involved in the community and served on the Board of Trustees at the Tampa Museum of Art for 12 years and was the former Chairman of the Advisory Board at South Tampa YMCA, where he remains a current Board Member.
