WINNIPEG, MB: In 2025, Westward Industries, a leading manufacturer of compact, specialized, and sustainable electric utility vehicles, will launch new vehicle models and parts, lower price points on popular products, and continue to build strategic partnerships.
Since purchasing Westward Industries Ltd. in 2012, brothers Stefano, Chris, and Fab Franz have worked tirelessly to expand and refine the GO-4 brand, most notably known for purpose-built parking enforcement vehicles. Over the years, they have actively increased and diversified the company’s portfolio to include a range of specialized electric utility vehicles ideal for applications ranging from parking enforcement and automated license plate recognition (ALPR) to university campuses, construction sites, last-mile delivery services, agricultural settings, government work, and more. Westward’s Max-EV model is a new and market-leading option for electric LSVs (low-speed vehicles).
With a dynamic team of in-house engineers, welders, and assembly staff, Westward Industries Ltd. continually seeks opportunities for growth, improvement, and innovation. In the coming year, the company is on track to:
- Launch a new, more cost-effective drive train in early summer with a 4WD version also expected in late 2025.
- Launch a new, entry-level MAX-ORV with a shorter wheelbase.
- Launch a new GO-4 model similar to the well-known Interceptor, featuring a new, longer wheelbase for increased cargo/storage, an ultra-quiet, epoxied cab, and a brand-new one-piece sliding door configuration.
- Launch a new multi-passenger unit allowing for 6-8 passengers in late 2025 or early 2026.
- Offer new, lower price points on standard 8kw Lithium-Ion batteries, ready to ship in early summer (MSRP below $20,000 US).
- Increase and reinforce strategic partnerships with leading Genetec ALPR Elite partners.

“We’ve built Westward Industries on the core principles of constant improvement, consumer support, and clear communication,” said Chris Franz, Vice President of Westman Industries. “In 2025, we look forward to staying true to these principles as we navigate what we expect to be one of our busiest and most successful years yet.”
