The head chef at Delice & Sarrasin, Yvette Caron, has created a new steak menu that highlights artisan plant-based steaks they have crafted in-house to evoke the tastes and textures of the original.
Popular additions include Caron’s version of one of the most quintessential French dishes, Steak Frites. Her dish features a lightly crispy chunky vegan steak served with French fries and flavored with genuine black truffle.
For those patrons seeking another gourmet French-inspired dish, Delice & Sarrasin has also recreated Tournedos Rossini. This high-end dish also uses their artisan tender steak, this time served as a fillet and topped with plant-based foie gras and finished with a truffle and wine-infused sauce and freshly shaved black truffle.
Their Steak Tartare is a particularly unique take on the ambitious French dish, using cold vegan steak served with a raw plant-based egg, shallots, parsley, and capers, and served with French fries.
The brasserie also has an extensive selection of vegan wines that have been carefully curated to match their selection of plant-based steaks.
