Integrity Research Institute has announced the launch of the OsteoPad - a newly patented device for improving bone density and restoring cartilage.

-- Following the recent announcement, the OsteoPad device harnesses pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) to alleviate the degeneration of cartilage in synovial joints. The design represents a breakthrough in the treatment of conditions such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and osteopenia.

While the OsteoPad has been brought to the market by the Integrity Research Institute, the design itself was developed by NASA engineers at the Johnson Space Center. NASA research revealed that exposing mammalian cartilage and bone tissue to finely tuned magnetic fields modifies cellular-level genetic regulation.
Studies showed that human chondrocyte cells (HCH) in patients with early-stage osteoarthritis responded to PEMF waveforms, stimulating the process of regrowth and restoration. The OsteoPad condenses this technology into a series of magnetic pancake coils which sit inside a soft flannel cover. These coils, which are arranged to form a Spiral Toroid, connect to the supplied control unit.
A spokesperson explains, “This pad comprises the specific, patented signal for resonating with the bone calcium channels to open them for transport across the cell membrane, thus simulating the performance of weight-bearing exercise (as if you are lifting weights while you sleep).”
Individuals can choose from four different OsteoPad models. The OsteoPad Single, for instance, measures 19 x 11 inches and generates 7.8 Hz pulses of magnetic energy to harmonize with the earth's Schumann frequency. The signal allows the direct absorption of calcium and magnesium into the bones and cartilage. The OsteoPad works overnight while the user sleeps - the coils are encased in a layer of protective foam, and the pad can be placed easily under a mattress without creating any discomfort.
For seniors who suffer from incontinence, Integrity Research Institute can supply a moisture-resistant vinyl sleeve for the OsteoPad at no extra cost.
For a more portable solution, customers can opt for the MiniMat version or choose the MaxiMat for full body coverage.
A recent user says, "I can’t thank you enough for making such a well-designed product available for public use. I’m a combat veteran who came back from war with several musculoskeletal problems and have benefited greatly from both the OsteoPad and the Premier Jr. I no longer take NSAIDS for pain. Your work is nothing short of inspiring."
