Los Angeles, California, June 6, 2022 (Promeza Marketing Group) - Samaritan's Purse recently launched an official Spanish website to reach and engage with Spanish speakers in their native language.
"Samaritan's Purse has been ministering to Spanish-speaking families for decades. We want to encourage and mobilize the Hispanic community by speaking to them in their own language so we can continue to work together for the Gospel," says Franklin Graham.
Samaritan's Purse maintains an active presence in Latin America. In Colombia, their teams provide food, shelter and medical care to migrant families fleeing difficult conditions in Venezuela. Samaritan’s purse wants them to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them.
In the past two decades, they have deployed different Mobile Emergency Hospitals around the world, including one in Honduras after Hurricanes Eta and Lota hit Central America. They have also set up hospitals in Italy, New York City and elsewhere in the United States in response to the global pandemic.
"Let my heart be broken with the things that break the heart of God." Bob Pierce wrote these now-famous words in his Bible after visiting suffering children on the Korean island of Koje-do. This impassioned prayer is what guided him as he founded and led the ministry of Samaritan's Purse in 1970. His goal for this organization was "to meet emergency needs in crisis areas through existing evangelical mission agencies and national churches."
After sharing the story of "The Good Samaritan," Jesus said, "Go and do the same yourself." This is the mission of Samaritan's Purse: to follow the example of Christ by helping all those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel.
Currently, Samaritan’s Purse operates several medical facilities in different parts of Ukraine where there is conflict, and provide food and other items through partner churches, both in Ukraine and Moldova.
