Halperin, the founder of the Halperin Law Center, has been named to the 2025 Virginia Super Lawyers list for the 11th consecutive year, and Andrew Lucchetti has been named to the 2025 Virginia Rising Stars list for the ninth year.
The Virginia Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are annual peer-nominated honors recognizing outstanding lawyers in Virginia across various practice areas. Those distinctions are part of the broader Super Lawyers program by Thomson Reuters, which identifies top attorneys in each state based not just on peer nominations but also on independent research and personal achievements.
As previously mentioned, Jonathan E. Halperin was named to the 2025 Virginia Super Lawyers list, which is reserved only for attorneys who have demonstrated excellence in their practice. Only up to 5 percent of lawyers in each state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive the Super Lawyers honor.
Likewise, only 2.5 percent are selected to receive the Rising Stars honor, which recognizes younger or newer attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for less than a decade (less than 10 years). Both of these lists are published in Super Lawyers Magazine and often reprinted in regional publications, like Virginia Business.
Super Lawyers Magazine makes its annual selection using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.
