Opening Brings Innovative Hands-on Physical Therapy to Residents in River Oaks and Upper Kirby.
HOUSTON - Oct. 18, 2017 - PRLog -- Results Physiotherapy, a leader in helping people live without pain, opened its newest Houston Clinic on October 2 in the River Oaks neighborhood. The new clinic is located at 2900 Weslayan St., Suite D. This brings the number of Houston-area Results clinics to six with two more opening before the end of the year.

Based in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, Results staffs its clinic with therapists trained to treat more than 100 musculoskeletal conditions, from sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation to TMJ and vertigo. By focusing on manual therapy techniques and individually-tailored strength and exercise plans, Results has built an extraordinary record of positive outcomes during 20 years in business.

Taryn Wright, PT, DPT, OCS, ATC is Director of the new clinic. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England.

"I like that we're so close to a bustling area," Taryn said. "There's a good mix of retail and residential nearby, so we can serve patients at times that are convenient for them."

She added, "Plus, with commuter thoroughfares like 59 and 610 right here, it's convenient for patients to make appointments either before work or on their way home after work." Taryn says the clinic is large enough to eventually support three to four Physical Therapists, plus support staff.

Results utilizes an innovative, hands-on type of physical therapy. Their manual approach goes beyond exercise-only treatments to help correct the issue actually causing the patient's pain. As a result relief is often faster, with recovery lasting longer.

These advanced techniques have landed Results in the top 10 percent for patient outcomes across the industry, as measured by Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes, Inc., an independent organization that measures outcomes and patient satisfaction.

"Our success in Houston has exceeded what we originally hoped," said Tony Ueber, President and CEO of Results Physiotherapy. "The positive response to our approach to Physical Therapy has allowed us to expand across the city."

Ueber added that the active lifestyle so many Houstonians enjoy is a perfect fit for Results, which has developed a strong following among amateur and professional athletes.

The in-clinic experience is key to what sets Results apart from other providers. A Results patient will see a Physical Therapist at every visit. In addition, all Results therapists receive continuing education four times the industry standard.

"Other healthcare providers don't seem to have the time or the expertise to provide this level of engagement," Ueber said. "But our outcomes prove that our method works."

Results currently operates more than 130 clinics across the Southeast and Texas. Other Houston locations include Memorial City, Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land and Willowbrook.
