Playwright, Ted Johnson's Play, "In Three Days" Storms into Black Spectrum Theatre In Queens, N.Y.
JAMAICA, N.Y. - Feb. 11, 2018 - PRLog -- Straight from Atlanta, Ga, "In Three Days" opens Friday, April 6, 2018 and runs thru April 8, 2018 --- for 3 days only.  Ted Johnson's long-awaited play premiers at the renowned Black Spectrum Theatre in Jamaica Queens, NY. Black Spectrum Theatre was founded by Carl Clay and is celebrating its 48th season. Show times are 8pm Friday and Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. Tickets are $25 advance, $35 at the door and $50 for VIP Tickets. "In Three Days" is a story of two friends – one Jewish and one African American. The two of them embark on a journey of life, death, and forgiveness like none before in this brilliant play about friendship and fellowship.  Rick, the lead character played by Roger Payano finds himself in the dubious position of having only three days to live. What would you do … if you only had three days to live?

The play is produced by Gregory L. Hudson (CEO) and presented by New Style Entertainment, Inc. (NSE) www.newstyleent.com. Gregory is a lifelong theatre artist. He has produced, written, and directed many plays including, "No Harm, No Foul" and "Bronx House". Not only has he written films, tv pilots, and other works, but he has also appeared in film, tv, and on the New York Stage. Gregory is the author of the books "Monologues: Dramatic Monologues for Actors", "Showtime: Comedic Acting Scenes for Two Actors", and "48 Poems: Reflections Of A Poet." Gregory, a five-time New York Marathon Runner, will be headed to London, England to run the London Marathon on April 22, 2018. He will be running with the International Charity Organization, "Get Kids Going!" Gregory currently teaches performing arts at Renaissance Middle School 192Q in St. Albans, Queens, New York.

Bronx, New York native, N. Emil Thomas (Artistic Director of "Marietta's Theatre In The Square) is the director. He directed "The Gift of Magi 2.0", "The Glass Menagerie", "La Gringa" and more. Ted Johnson, Esq., (a practicing Criminal Defense Attorney) authored "Faces I Have Seen" and produced the tv pilot "Atlanta Law". Malikah McHerrin-Cobb calls the show as stage manager. The play has a brilliant cast that includes; Michael T Short (Ted), Roger Payano (Rick), Ashley Danielle Manar (Nadine), Nakia Nicole Lawrence (Ms. Ali), Jerrell Brown (Rick Jr.), Jarryn Maurice Bingham (Cousin Henry), Anjil Jeter (Amen Corner), Mona Amin (St. Michael), Niya Maureen Davis (Amen Corner), Fred Jennings (St. Gabriel), Edward Gradix (Ted's Father).
