The book was published by Change Maker Press, a publishing house founded by best-selling author and Strategic Book Coach, Emma Hamlin, who’s own inspiring story is also featured in the book.
Emma founded Change Maker Press earlier in 2019 with the vision to help women share their stories, expand their networks and reach a wider audience with their message. Starting with this multi-author series, her goal is to elevate the gifts and genius of others, using the power of books.

“In my 30's, I went through a really challenging time - I was at a crisis point. I struggled with my weight and my mental health. I was unable to walk properly for several months and had to be pushed in a wheelchair due to complications after the birth of my first child. It was really tough,” says Emma, “I never spoke openly about this dark time until the start of 2019. My life changed entirely after I shared my story! I was able to make meaningful connections with other women, and men, who were going through the same challenges. I was able to create an online program from this experience and help women around the world transform their health.”
Now Emma is a successful entrepreneur offering strategic book coaching and teaching others to self-publish and become best-selling authors. But this is just the start for this mum of two, whose life truly began at 40.
