Christopher Sutton, CEO, Wavefront Centre states: "Communication during COVID-19 is critical in making informed decisions to protect ourselves and our loved ones. For people who are Deaf and hard of hearing, the use of masks has compromised communication. Working together with Tinkerine, we've come up with a creative solution to allow our community to read lips and see facial expressions, an essential communication tool, with a face shield. The face shields will make a monumental difference in communication and personal protection for this community during this challenging time. I'm proud of the new and innovative partnerships that we have been able to form with non-traditional partners. These partnerships have come together to create unique opportunities and will continue to grow and have a lasting impact on our communities for generations to come."

Eugene Suyu, CEO Tinkerine states: "The partnership with Wavefront Centre helped us evaluate what it means to assist the needs of essential workers in current times. Everyone has slightly different requirements, so providing a layer of protection while allowing for proper communications is a crucial capability for every person in risky roles and situations. Tinkerine is proud to contribute protection for the Deaf and hard of hearing community and facilitating communications."

Tinkerine has also started selling the Tinkerine Face Mask Ear Relief device. Face masks can cause chafing and abrasion behind the ears when worn for an extended period of time. The Face Mask Ear Relief device is designed to take the tension off the ears and provide comfort for long-duration use. The Tinkerine Face Mask Ear Relief is available for purchase on the Company website at:
