The Rapper Began his Music Journey in 2016 after attending the SXSW festival in Austin Texas. After releasing his Hit Single Title ''Drop That A**'' to Positive reviews, he presented his demo to Cash Money Records. His dedication to music leads him to connect with his fanbase in a unique way such as passing disc out of the trunk of his car. Daggett became inspired by rappers such as Lil Wayne, Birdman, Juvenile, Young Turk, and BG.
In 2019 Jay9mm joined the USO Entertainment Tour to support the troops. This is considered the world's biggest entertainment tour.
