Black Unicorn Factory Does It Again, Follow Me For Equity Inc Is Yet Another Startup Valued At $100 Million Plus

American Startup, “Follow Me For Equity Inc" is set to be valued at over $100 million after a round of investment from African-American Business Development firm, Black Unicorn Factory.

In the latest fund round by Black Unicorn Factory, $7.5 million was invested in Follow Me For Equity, a network marketing company based in Los Angeles. After having been appraised of its value, the startup has now received a valuation over $100 million with Experian business valuation service, becoming one of the few to have attained this rare feat.  The Black Unicorn Factory program takes “From Startups to the Stock Market" using a new IPO law called "Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act of 2012 (J.O.B.S. Act of 2012) which was passed into Law by President Obama in 2012.

Network Marketing is business model in which a distributor network is needed to build the business. Such business strategies depend on person-to-person sales by independent representatives, often working from home. A network marketing business may also require you to build a network of business partners or salespeople to assist with lead generation and closing sales. Some reputable examples of single-tier network marketing operations include Avon Products, Mary Kay, and Excel Communications.

Founded by Jeremy Duncan, Follow Me For Equity has been in the Network Marketing industry for over 15 years and is preparing to launch a mobile app.

Black Unicorn Factory is a development program, now commonly referred to as an ‘accelerator’, which recently received $225 million dollars in funding from investors. Becoming the first African American led technology startup in the United States to reach that threshold.

This is historic because currently only 1% of all Venture Capital is invested in African American Startups. This to date is the first and largest investment made by any investor in an African American lead Technology startup in the US. Currently, there are over 500 Unicorns in the world but not one is owned by an African American.

“This is a real game-changer in Financial Technology” This is the first time ever, the average hard-working, paycheck to paycheck earner, can invest in Billion-Dollar Tech Startups that were once reserved only for the rich, this has the potential to be huge and affect the lives of many,” said John Stewart, the CEO of this new startup.

Black Unicorn Factory specializes in turning normal small startups into startups that stand head and shoulders above the rest. The name unicorn refers to a tech company with an evaluation of one billion dollars or more. In essence, Black Unicorn Factory is hoping to help people achieve this level of success.

Black Unicorn Factory aims to be the best Alternative Financing and Marketing company in the country. The firm is also on a mission to be able to help small and minority businesses get the funding they need to scale and grow their businesses.
