Medi-Share Welcomes Chief Financial Officer to the Leadership Team

Christian Care Ministry/ Medi-Share, America’s most trusted health care sharing ministry, is joined by Mark Joos, newly-appointed Chief Financial Officer. As part of this team Mark will lead in managing costs, maintaining fiscal responsibility, and retaining the financial strength of the Medi-Share program for its members.  

Mark is an accomplished financial executive and leader with a proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies, identifying and solving financial/enterprise challenges and risks, and building strong relationships and partnerships.  

Most recently, Mark was the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of CopperPoint Insurance Companies, where he was a key contributor in the acquisition of two property and casualty insurance companies. He joined CopperPoint after 17 years with GuideOne Insurance, where he served as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. There he oversaw a 25-person Finance team and was an integral part of the strategic plan to drive revenue by entering into new lines of business. He also has eight years of public accounting experience, a BA in Accounting from Arizona State University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mark has a heart and passion for the Lord and recognizes how God works through prayer and people as demonstrated by his work with his church’s ‘pray and help’ team as well as his service as the board president of Hawthorn Hill, a non-profit that focuses on homeless families with children. He now comes to Christian Care Ministry, excited to apply his financial and faith-based background to a much larger ministry.
