Boutique private-equity group acquires Catawba Valley Brewing Co.

“I’m just stepping back and turning this over to someone who can take it to where it needs to go,” says Billy Pyatt, CEO of Catawba Brewing. The brewery announced Friday it will be acquired by a private-equity firm.
