To this end, KingdomX proposes a unique gaming experience that is both engaging and financially lucrative, through its GameFi approach which allows players to trade and gain assets in the form of fungible or non-fungible tokens.
The Gameplay
KingdomX is an NFT strategy war game built on Ethereum, where players can collect heroes, complete challenges, and participate in wars, with the end goal of consolidating their kingdom through social networking and territorial development. The players will be able to own up to four different assets, from two different assets categories, fungible and non-fungible NFT tokens. The two NFT components of the game are heroes and lands, meanwhile, the fungible token components of the game are the ERC-20 tokens KT (King Token) and KNT (Knight Token).
The three main pillars of the game are the hero NFTs, the PvP combat, and the Kings Landing Protocol. The hero NFTs are a central asset, having an active effect on the development of the game.
The PvP game is the core combat game within KingdomX and also the mechanism through which players could earn KNT tokens and reputation, which are necessary for generating new hero NFTs.
The Kings Landing Protocol refers to the mechanism of issuance and destruction of NFT tokens that makes KingdomX truly special amongst other NFT projects. This is an ongoing process within the game, which will manifest during PvP battles when new heroes are either being lost or generated using KT tokens, reputation points, and Lands.
The in-Game Assets
Heroes represent the core NFT category of the game. They are unique NFTs within 5 attribute categories and different vocational skills. After the release of the first generation of heroes, players will be able to generate new heroes either by advancing in the game and waging tokens or, players would be able to acquire heroes from secondary markets. Also, heroes could be destroyed during the battle, in which case players would receive back some of the tokens that have been used in acquiring the lost hero.
Lands represent the 2nd NFT category within the game. They are prerequisites for the hero recruitment and directly influence the attributes of the hero that is being generated. The lands can be destroyed or sold on the open market.
KT represents the main token of the game, which is used for value transfer and community governance. Each time players recruit new heroes, they will be required to exchange some tokens. These tokens will be returned almost entirely to the player when a hero NFT has been destroyed. KT can also be used for acquiring props or for voting within the game governance system. Furthermore, players can also acquire KT tokens by completing in-game tasks.
KNT represents the functional token to be used inside the game, for things such as hero level-up. They can be obtained through participating in daily activities, challenges, or PvP combats, but also through an exchange. All KNT tokens will be burned after being spent within the game.
